Foundation Makeup Tip: When it comes to foundation there are two keys to success: choose the perfect shade and pick the right formulation for your skin.


There are six types available:

Tinted moisturizers: These are a cross between a moisturizer and a concealer, they will sooth your skin while giving a little coverage. They are ideal for young or clear skin.

Liquid: These suit all but th direst skins. If you have oily skin look for oil-free products.

Cream: These are thick, rich and moisurizing and ideal for dry and mature skin.

Mousse: These are quite moisturizing and ideal for dry skin. You should apply them with a sponge.

Compact: These are all-in-one formulations which already contain powder. They cone in a compact usually with their own sponge for application.

Stick: These have a heavy texture and are best confined for use on badly blemished skin
